if EMF is 5 Volts, what is the energy supplied by battery ?

It depends...

To get energy consumed from the battery, you need two more variable to solve.

Eg:

V (Which is, = EMF, considering no internal resistance) = 5

Let's say, current drawn from this battery be 1A & for 1 min, then,

E = V.I.T

  = 5*1*60

  = 300J

Now, if you use the battery for an hour,

E = 5*1*60*60

   = 18000J = 18kJ

~ly, change the current drawn, energy will change...
