empirical formula = CH2

empirical mass = 12+ 2(1)=14g

molar mass = 70 g

As per the formula ,

Molar mass = n (empirical mass )

70 = n ×14

n= 70/14

n=5

Molecular formula = n (empirical formula)

Molecular formula = n (CH2)

Molecular formula =5(CH2)

Molecular formula = C5 H 10
