if energy can neither be created and nor destroyed, explain with an example as to why we should worry about our energy resources ?

Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed but it can be converted and stored in another form. So we should worry about our energy resources because energy is used in machines and vehicles and converted into smoke or converted into another energy. For example: When we on the fan it converts electrical energy into mechanical energy and then used by fans. Then this mechanical energy also converts into sound energy which we do hear and some heat energy which gets evolved.
