Yes, energy can neither be created nor be destroyed.. It's just change it's states..

But, humans don't have such high technology . We don't have technology to utilize many energy resources..

Yes, energy can neither be created nor destroyed. But to use energy for our day to day life, we need 'capture' that energy, we cannot let it be wasted. For example, if you switch on a light bulb, the tungsten filament will glow, but the energy which makes it glow will be wasted off as heat which cannot be utilized by us.
