The year 1901-2000 has only 25 leap years

The total number of people born on 29th February = 25p

The total number of people born in entire 20th century ,

= 36500 + 25p

= 36525p

The required percentage of people born on 29th February ,

= \frac{25p}{36525p} (100)

= 0.0684

The percentage of people born on a single day is 0.0684
