If equal weights of all the three states of a substance X are taken, which state will have the MAXIMUM number of molecules

A - solid
B - liquid
C - gas
D - (All three will have the same number of molecules.)

solids are tightly packed whereas liquids are intermediately packed, gases on the other hand are completely loose
