if every liquids in chemistry r put in non metals then why mercury is put in metals?????​

Mercury is an exceptional case. Nature does not allow us to catagorise it. Except Mercury even other metals are liquids at higher temperatures. They are solid only at room temperature i.e. at normal temperature.
