Let the original side of the cube be a .

Then,

v = {a}^{3}

When side of the cube = 2a

then,

Volume = PV

example :

PV =(2a)^{3} =8a^{3}

PV = 8 V

P = 8

v = {a}^{3}a

3

When side of the cube = 2a

Volume = PV

example :

PV =(2a)^{3}(2a)

3

=8a^{3}8a

3

PV = 8 V

P = 8
