if every state would follow its own time then.....there would be a time difference of 2 hours from east to west......there would be lot of chaos in the country.....so to avoid this we use ist.......

then there will be too much confusion... for when one should do a particular meeting or something like that ..cause all will have their own time...and one can have health problems due to early or late rising...
