If every state follows its local time then you would have to change ythe time on your watch every time you go to another state.Then There Would Be A Lot Of Confusion.As Every State Will Have Its Own Time Zone.Imagine Yourself Changing Your Clock Time Every Time You Visit Another State...It Would Cause A Lot Of Confusion
