Given info : f is a signum function.

To find : The value of f(100)

solution : we know, f(x) = |x|/x is known as signum function.

it is defined as

f(x) = 1 for x > 0

f(x) = 0 for x = 0

f(x) = -1 for x < 0

here x = 100 > 0

so, f(100) = 1

Therefore the value of f(100) = 1 if f is a signum function.
