To find : the pre image of 27 are

Solution : first we put the option 1

                       0,5 in the function

                f(x) = x²+ 2

                  put  x= 0

                     f(x) = 0 + 2

                           = 2

                    put x = 5

                      f(x) = (5)² + 2

                             = 27

                     so , this option does not satisfy the condition.

now we try option 2

                  (5,-5)

            f(x) = x² + 2

           put x= 5

           f(x) = (5)² + 2

           f(x) = 25 + 2

           f(x) = 27

       now put x= -5
