It has given that function, f(x) = 1/(2x + 1)
To show : f(f(x)) = (2x + 1)/(2x + 3)
solution : f(f(x)) = f(1/(2x + 1))
= 1/{2 × 1/(2x + 1) + 1 }
= 1/{2/(2x + 1) + 1 }
= 1/[{2 + (2x + 1)}/(2x + 1)]
= 1/{(2x + 3)/(2x + 1)}
= (2x + 1)/(2x + 3)
Therefore function, f(f(x)) = (2x + 1)/(2x + 3).
