If f(x) = 12, if x is an integer - 7, if x is a real number which is not an integer
Find whether f is continuous at x = 9

f(x)    =12 if x is an integer =-7 
f(x)  is  continous when x is an integer but when left hand limit is not equal to right hand limit then it shows that f(x) is not continous then 
wen x = 9  when x is slightly less then f(x) 
so LHL≠RHL  left hand limit is not equal to right hand limit so it shows that f(x) is not contiouns at x = 9
