Step-by-step explanation:

x²+x-2

x²+2x-1x-2

x(x+2)-1(x+2)

(x+2)(x-1)

x+2=0

x = -2

f(x)=2x²+ax²+bx+6

f(-2)= 2(-2)²+a(-2)²+b(-2)+6

8+4a-2b+6

14+4a-2b -- (1)

x-1=0

x=1

f(x)=2x²+ax²+bx+6

f(1)=2(1)²+a(1)²+b(1)+6

2+a+b+6

8+a+b --(2)

substituting (1)&(2)

14+4a-2b=8+a+b

14-8=-4a+a+2b+b

6 = -3a + 3b

so , value of a -2

value of b 2.
