hey \: mate \: here \: is \: your \: answer...
______________________________

f(x) = 2 {x}^{3} - 13 {x}^{2} + 17x + 12

(a) \: \: \: \: on \: putting \: f = 1
f (x) = 2(1)^3-13 (1)^2+17 (1)+12
= 2 (1)-13 (1)+17 (1)+12
=2-13+17+12
=31-13
= 15

(b) \: \: on \: putting \: f = 12

f(12) = 2(12) {}^{3} - 13(12) {}^{2} + 17(12) + 12 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 2(1728) - 13(144) + 17(12) + 12 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 3456 - 1872 + 204 + 12 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 3672 - 1872 \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 1800

(c) \: \: on \: putting \: x = \frac{3}{2}

f( \frac{3}{2} ) = 2( \frac{3}{2} ) {}^{3} - 13( \frac{3}{2} ) {}^{2} + 17( \frac{3}{2} ) + 12 \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 2( \frac{27}{8} ) - 13( \frac{9}{4} ) + 17( \frac{3}{2} ) + 12 \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{54}{8} - \frac{117}{4} + \frac{51}{2} + 12 \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{54 - 234 + 204 + 96}{8} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{354 - 234}{8} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = \frac{120}{8} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 15
