QUESTION :-

If f(x) = 3x^3 - 5x^2 + 7x  - 11 , Verify that f(0) + f(1) = f(2) -

GIVEN :-

f(x) = 3x^3 - 5x^2 + 7x  - 11

TO VERIFY :-

f(0) + f(1) = f(2)

SOLUTION :-

At x = 0, the Value of the Polynomial f (0) is (-11)

At x = 1, the Value of the Polynomial f (1) is (-6)

At x = 2, the Value of the Polynomial f (2) is 7

Verifying that f(0) + f(1) = f(2) -

  • Value of f (0) = (-11)
  • Value of f (1) = (-6)

Here, the Value of f (2) is = 7

As  \bold {(-11) + (-6) = -11 - 6 = (-17)}, it's not Equivalent to f (2), (i.e.), 7

CONCLUSION :-

So, \bold {f (0) + f (1) \neq f (2)}
