f(x) = 3x + 5

f(-x) = 3(-x) + 5 =-3x + 5

f(x) + f(-x) = (3x + 5) + (-3x + 5) = 10

= 3x + 5 -3x + 5 = 10

= 5+5= 10

Hence it is proved.
