Value of k

Solution :-

By putting x = 2

• 0 = 3(2)³ + k(2) - 8
• 0 = 3(8) + 2k - 8
• 0 = 24 + 2k - 8
• 0 = 16 + 2k
• 0 - 16 = 2k
• -16 = 2k
• -16/2 = k
• -8 = k
