given that:
=> f(x) = 4^x ---------------------(1)
now f(x+1) = 4^(x+1) ----------------(2)
◆ According to question :
=) f(x+1) - f(x) = 4^(x+1) - 4^x
= 4^x . 4 - 4^x
= 4^x( 4 -1)
= 3.4^x
● put f(x) in place of 4^x , we get
= 3f(x)
so the required function is :
=) f(x+1) - f(x) = 3f(x)
