If f(x) = 5x 2 – 4x + 5, find f(1) + f(–2) + f(0)

Answer: f(x) = 5x² – 4x + 5

f(-1) = 5(-1)² - 4(-1) + 5

= 5+4+5

= 14

f(-2) = 5(-2)² -4(-2)+5

= 5(4) + 8 + 5

= 20 + 13

= 33

f(0) = 5(0)² - 4(0) + 5

= 0-0+5

= 5

f(1) + f(–2) + f(0) = 14 + 33 + 5

= 52
