Given :-

  • If f(x) =5x+4,prove that : f(3) +f (-3) =8

Solution :-

  • First, let us find the balue of f(3). Just substitute x = 3

      ⇒ f(3) = 5(3) + 4 = 19

  • Now, let's find value of f(-3). Substitute x = -3

     ⇒ f(-3) = 5(-3) + 3 =  -15 + 3 = - 12

   ⇒ f(3) + f(-3) = 19 + (-12) = 19 - 12 = 8

So, f(3) + f(-3) = 8

Hence, proved!!
