if f(x)=x^2+3x+2 find the value of x for which f(x+1)=f(x)

f(x)=x^2+3x+2

f(x+1)= x^2 + 2x +1 + 3x+ 3 +2

f(x+1)= x^2 + 5x + 6

given

f(x) = f(x+1)

x^2 + 3x + 2 = x^2 + 5x + 6

-2x = 4

x= -2
