if f(x)=x^4-2x^3-ax-b when divided by (x-1) the remainder is 6, then find the value of (a+b)​

x-1=0

x=1

x^4-2x^3-ax-b=6

1^4-2(1)^3-a(1)-b=6

1-8-a-b=6

-7-a-b=6

-a-b=6+7

-a-b=13

-(a+b)=13

a+b=-13
