If f(x) = x + 4 and g(x) = 2x2 - 4x – 3, Find (f – g) x, , when x = 5

Answer:

g(x )=2×2 - 4x-3

=4- 4x-3

= 1-4x

f(x) = x + 4

(f-g)x= x+4-(1-4x)

=x+4-1+4x

= 5x +3

X=5

(f-g)x= 5×5+3

=25+3

=28
