<b><I>Solution:

======================

f(x) = x² - 4x + 6

f(1) = 1² - 4 × 1 + 6

f(1) = 7 - 4

f(1) = 3

======================

f(-1) = (-1)² - 4 (-1) + 6

f(-1) = 1 + 4 + 6

f(-1) = 11

======================

Therefore, f(1) - f(-1)

=> 3 - 11

=> -8 [Ans]

f(x) = x^2 - 4x + 6

let first we find ,

f(1) = (1)^2 - 4(1) + 6

=1 - 4 + 6 = 3

now

f(-1 ) = (-1)^2 - 4(-1) + 6

=1 +4 + 6 = 11

f(1) - f(-1) = 3 - 11 = - 8

therefore ,f(1) - f(-1) = - 8
