Let the son’s age=x
Father’s age = 2x
By question,
x+2x=99
3x=99
x=99/3
x=33

Father’s age=2x=2 x 33= 66
Son’s age=x =33

Answer:

Age of his son=x

Age of his father is twice of his son age =2x

Therefore 2x+x=99

3x=99

x=99/3

x=33

His son age=33 years

His father age=2x

=2*33

=66 years
