Given,

Perpendicular distance = 5

Base = 10

To find,

We have to find the hypotenuse for the right triangle.

Solution,

The hypotenuse for a right angle in which P =5 and B=10 is 5√5.

We can simply find the hypotenuse for a right triangle by using Pythagoras theorem,

     (H)² = (B)² + (P)²

     (H)² = (10)² +(5)²

     (H)² = 100 +25

     (H)²  = 125

      H = √125

      H = 5√5

Hence, the hypotenuse for a right angle, P= 5 and B= 10 is 5√5.
