if for polynomial p(x),p(-1)=3 then what will be the remainder when p(x) is divided by (x+1)
please solve it​

Answer:

By the remainder theorem ,

p(a)= the remainder when p(x) is divided by (x-a)

p(-1)= the remainder when p(x) is divided by {x-(-1)}, i.e.(x+1)

Since it is given that p(-1)=3 ,

3 is the required remainder
