Fundamental units are a set of unrelated units of measurement. Young’s modulus is the elastic modulus we use for deformation which takes place when a force which is parallel to the axis of the object is applied to one face while the opposite face is held fixed by another equal force.
Y = stress / strain
= force / area x strain
Y = stress / strain
= force / area x strain
