The rate of change of momentum is 3 kg-m/s²

Explanation:

The horizontal forces as

F_1=3 N

F_2=6 N

F_3=3 N

F_4=6 N

If F_3 is removed

Then there will be change in momentum

From Newton's second law we know that

Rate of change of momentum = Force

F=\frac{d}{dt}(mv)

\implies F=\frac{m(v_2-v_1)}{t}

Since force of 3 N is removed

Therefore, rate of change of momentum = 3 kg-m/s²

Hope this answer is helpful.
