Solution:

Total number of cards in a deck of cards = 52

We have to select 4 cards out of 52 cards in such a way that one should be spade and other should be heart.As there are 13 spades and 13 hearts in number.

Total favorable Outcome = _{1}^{13}\textrm{C}\times_{1}^{13}\textrm{C}\times_{2}^{26}\textrm{C}

Total Possible Outcome = _{4}^{52}\textrm{C}

Probability of an event = \frac{\text{Total favorable Outcome}}{\text{Total Possible Outcome}}

        =  \frac{_{1}^{13}\textrm{C}\times_{1}^{13}\textrm{C}\times_{2}^{26}\textrm{C}}{_{4}^{52}\textrm{C}}
