Hello Dear,

◆ Answer -

Density of earth = 5.514 g/cm^3

● Explanation -

Acceleration due to gravity is given by formula -

g = GM / R^2

But M = V×d = 4/3 πR^3.d,

g = G × 4/3 πR^3.d / R^2

g = 4/3 πG.R.d

d = 3g / 4πGR

Substituting values,

d = (3 × 980) / (4 × 3.142 × 6.67×10^-8 × 6.36×10^8)

d = 5.514 g/cm^3

Therefore, density of earth is 5.514 g/cm^3.

Thanks dear...
