If g(x)= 2x and fog(x)=6x-2, find f(x) , where f(x) is a linear function.

g(x)=2x and fog(x)=6x-2

g(x)and fog(x)= f(x) -(1)

f(x)= 2x+6x-2

-2x-6x=2

-8x=2

x=2/8

x=4

hence, x=4

so, f(x) is equal to f(4)
