g(10) = -3. 10+1

= -30+1

= -29

g(b+c)= -3(b+c) +1

=-3b-3c+1

= -(3b+3c-1)

g(x) = -3x+1

If g(x) =16

then

-3x+1=16

or, -3x=16-1=15

x=15/-3

x = -5
