If Gaileo wanted to measure the speed of sound if his friend was 3000m away,how long would the sound take to travel between 2 hills? the speed of sound is about 300m/s.

SPEED=DISTANCE/TIME. To work out the speed of the sound in metres per second, divide the distance in metres by the average time in seconds. For example 170 metres divided by 0.50 seconds = 340 m/s

I wish I'd know how galileo did it xD

anywayyy so we have the speed of sound over here and the distance between the two hills so for time,

t = distance/speed

t = 3000/300

t = 10 seconds

it's just take 10 seconds for sound to travel between two 3km apart hills! that's pretty cool btw owo but here you gooo!
