Planets typically don't move towards the sun because they are in constant motion orbiting around the sun. For example, a satellite orbiting the earth, is really just falling around the earth without ever hitting it. That's becaus the satellite will fall around the Earth, always accelerating towards it under the influence of gravity, yet never colliding into it since the Earth is constantly curving at the same rate the satellite is falling.
Also, the sun has more gravitational influence over the planets, then the planets have over each other.
