Given :-

  • h = 3 cm.
  • AB = 50 cm.
  • QR = 8 cm.

To Find :-

  • H = ?

Answer :-

in ∆QRP and ∆BAP we have,

→ QR ll AB,

so,

→ ∠PQR = ∠PBA {Alternate angles.}

→ ∠PRQ = ∠PAB {Alternate angles.}

then,

→ ∆QRP ~ ∆BAP (By AA similarity .)

therefore,

→ QR / AB = h / H

→ 8 / 50 = 3 / H

→ 8H = 50 * 3

→ 4H = 75

→ H = 18.75 cm . (Ans.)
