Hi.
Given the H+ concentration is 10 ^-4
Using formula,
ph of a solution = -log[H+]
                         =  -log[10^-4]
                         = -(-4)log10  (As per as rules of the logarithms,logm to the                              =    4log10                       power n = n log m)

Since, log 10=1
Therefore, ph = 4 * 1
                      = 4
Thus, ph of a solution is 4.

Hope it will help u.

Have a nice day.
