Answer:

Explanation:

Hcf = 15

a×b = 1200

Lcm = ?

axb = Hcf x Lcm

1200 = 15 x Lcm

Lcm = 80

Answer:

We know that there is a relation between HCF and LCM and product of two numbers which is given by ,

HCF × LCM = Product of the numbers _ _ _ _ (i)

So,

In given question

HCF(a,b) = 15

and

a × b = 1200 .

so we can find value of LCM very easily by putting given two in (i)

Now,

using relationship given in (i)

LCM(a,b) =   \frac{a \times b}{HCF(a,b) }  \\  \\ LCM(a,b)=  \frac{1200}{15}

LCM(a,b) = 80

LCM of a,b will be 80.
