Since, LCM×HCH=product of two numbers

60×2=6×a

120=6a

6a=120

a=120/6=20

Hope, it help u

Answer:

a = 20

Step-by-step explanation:

We know,

HCF of 2 numbers \times LCM of same 2 numbers = product of the two numbers

Given that the 2 numbers are 6 and a

HCF of the 2 numbers = 2

LCM of the 2 numbers = 60

Hence, according to the formula

HCF of 2 numbers \times LCM of same 2 numbers = product of the two numbers.

{2 \times 60=6 \times a} \\ {a=\frac{2 \times 60}{6}=20} \\ {\therefore a=20}
