We know that for any two numbers a and b,
HCF(a,b) × LCM(a,b) = a × b
Thus,
14 × 2940 = 98 × b
=> 98b = 41160
=> b = 420
Thus, the other number is 420

Step-by-step explanation:
Let the another number be'a'
LCM(a,98)×HCF(a,98)=98a
2940×14=98a
a=(2940×14)/(98)
a=(2940)/7
a=420
