A/Q intercept by  x= 2 and x= 5  is less than 5

intersection of y= mx and x=2 and x=5

A ( 2 , 2m)      and B( 5 , 5m)

so                   √ (5-2)² + (5m - 2m)²   <  5  distance formula

                 squaring both sides

         ⇒  9 + 9m²  <  25   ⇒ 9m²  < 16  ⇒  m²  < 16/9 

                                -4/3     <  m < 4/3
