if heat is neither evolved nor absorbed during a chemical reaction so why does exothermic reaction take place​

Thermodynamically, if no heat change happens, ∆H=0.

Since ∆G=∆H-T∆S,

thus ∆G=-T∆S,

therefore an exothermic reaction can take place, provided the change in entropy is positive.
