lenght of shadow=20\sqrt{3}

let altitude be 'A degrees'

therefore tan(A)=20/20\sqrt{3}=1/\sqrt{3}

as tan 30 =1/\sqrt{3}

on comparing we get A=30 degrees

therefore altitude of ths sun is 30 degrees
