Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it. ' The quote is most likely due to writer and philosopher George Santayana, and in its original form it read, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it".

Okay so basically I seriously don't know what sort of history it is but... If History would not have the part of our curriculum there are many things we missed out...History does means The past but, History is still forwarded with the help of further generation....The language we speak is also History...if history would have not been a part of curriculum then how would we learn about various stuff... History is a important part of life... Therefore, If history was not there we wouldn't have learnt about the British rule in Indian.... Wouldn't learn about Mahatma Gandhi, History actually shows how This specific movement or time changed the whole life of ours.... If we didn't study how would we know that first train in India was during that time when British empire ruled India....Hence, History is also a part of life...it is an interesting topic to actually study about apart from the history of our Nation....World history is beautiful too... The rise of Hitler... If we didn't have history we would have missed the important parts of the World history...Like, How Hitler commenced the World War, How just because Albert Einstein informed American president Roosevelt about the atomic and how American Ended the war with throwing atomic bomb at the port city of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

History means the past and learning from our past is important... Learning about Aryabhatta...well ifI say history is precious and if it would have not been there in our curriculum we would have missed a lot of things about the World History
