- This would solve world hunger. Homeless people would no longer have to beg for food. If they do beg for money to buy food you can probably assume that they want money for drugs or alcohol. This would cut down on costs for schools and the everyday person because they don't have to buy food. Assuming that they become complete autotrophs there would be no use for the digestive system and the pooper because they can't eat food and make solid waste. Eventually humans may even evolve to get rid of the two systems(this would reduce energy waste). This has its problems though. Humans would have to drink a lot more water to facilitate photosynthesis. This would also really cut down on agricultural jobs because they are only needed for feeding pets and livestock(not for food livestock though). This would finally cut down on the carbon dioxide being released. Enjoy being a plant!
