if hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) reacts to form water (H2O) then why 2 is along with H since we know that valency of h is 1?​

Water which is H 2 _2 2O, two atoms of hydrogen combine with one atom of oxygen. The valency of oxygen is 2, because it needs two atoms of hydrogen to form water.
