Solution :-

According to the given condition,

  • 13x5 is a number, which is a multiple of 3.

As we know,

  • The sum of the digits of the multiples of 3 will be

  • 3, 6 or 9.

So here,

  • 1 + 3 + x + 5 must be equal to 3, 6 or 9.
  • 1 + 3 + x + 5 = 9 + x

If this number is a multiple of 3 , then

  • 9 + x = 3 , 6 or 9.
  • 9 is already a multiple of 3.
  • So x = 3 , 6 or 9.

Verification :-

1st Case :-

If x = 3

1335 will be the number.

1 + 3 + 3 + 5 = 12

1 + 2 = 3

1335 ÷ 3 = 445

Hence it is a multiple of 3.

2nd Case :-

If x = 6

1365 will be the number.

1 + 3 + 6 + 5 = 15

1 + 5 = 6

1365 ÷ 3 = 455

Hence it is a multiple of 3.

3rd Case :-

If x = 9

1395 will be the number.

1 + 3 + 9 + 5 = 18

1 + 8 = 9

1395 ÷ 3 = 495

Hence it is a multiple of 3 !

So the required answer for your question is ,
