Given : add the digits of  4-digit number, they make 25.

round the number to the nearest hundred, it rounds to 9000.

To Find : Number

Solution:

round the number to the nearest hundred, it rounds to 9000.

Hence number must be from 8950  to  9049

if first two digits are 90  then sum of remaining two digits should be  16

to get total sum = 25

16 is possible with 79 , 88 or 97

Hence 9079 , 9088 , 9097 are greater than 9049 so not possible

if first two digits are 89  then  sum of remaining two digits should be 8

to get total sum = 25

Hence possible numbers are

8953  , 8962 , 8971  , 8980

Four possible numbers

8953  , 8962 , 8971  , 8980
